Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect only what's needed to run your bookings, keep it in a UAE-compliant region, never sell it, and delete it when you ask. Text STOP to pause messages, DELETE to erase your data.
1. Who we are
affinova.ai is a service of Skyblue Group, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("affinova.ai", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: mani@skybluegroup.com.
2. What we collect
- Contact data: your WhatsApp phone number and the display name on your WhatsApp profile.
- Conversation data: the messages you exchange with affinova.ai, including location pins you choose to share.
- Booking data: the service, venue, date/time, party size, pickup/drop-off, status, and (where applicable) price of bookings made through affinova.ai.
- Feedback: ratings and comments you send after a booking.
- Attribution: a short code identifying which link, QR code or campaign brought you to affinova.ai (e.g. a code inside your first message).
- Learned preferences: your usual service, area and party size, derived from your booking history, used to save you time.
We do not collect payment card details, government IDs, or precise background location. We do not access your other WhatsApp chats or contacts — only the messages you send to affinova.ai.
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide the service (performance of a contract): understanding your request, making/cancelling/rescheduling bookings, sending booking confirmations and reminders, offering waitlist slots.
- To operate responsibly (legitimate interest): fraud and abuse prevention (e.g. rate limiting), service quality, aggregated statistics.
- With your consent: you consent to data processing when you first message affinova.ai (we tell you at that moment). You can withdraw at any time — see Section 7.
4. Who sees your data
- The venue that serves you: when a booking is confirmed, the merchant (restaurant, salon, clinic, fleet, etc.) receives your name, WhatsApp number, booking details and — for rides — pickup/drop-off locations. They need this to serve you.
- Booking platforms: if your booking is fulfilled by a partner platform (e.g. a restaurant network), the details needed to complete the booking are shared with them.
- Service providers: our WhatsApp Business provider (message delivery), cloud hosting (UAE-compliant region: GCC, EU or India), and AI language processing. Each receives only what its function requires.
- Our trained staff: when you ask for a human, or a booking needs help, an authorised affinova.ai specialist can read the relevant conversation. All staff access is role-restricted and logged.
We never sell your personal data. We never share it for third-party advertising.
5. Where it lives & how it's protected
- Hosted in a UAE PDPL-compliant region (GCC, EU or India) — never US-only.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest; secrets held in managed vaults, not code.
- Role-based access for staff (admin / manager / viewer) with a full audit log of changes.
- Automatic daily backups with limited retention.
6. How long we keep it
- Conversations & bookings: kept while your account is active so affinova.ai can serve you (e.g. "same again?", booking history).
- Operational logs: at least 90 days for security and quality, then rotated.
- Tax records: invoices to partner businesses are retained per UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements (these concern businesses, not customer chat data).
- After erasure: when you ask us to delete your data (below), it is permanently removed from live systems and ages out of backups on their limited cycle.
7. Your rights (UAE PDPL)
You can exercise these directly in the chat:
- Text STOP — no more reminders or follow-ups (bookings still work). Text START to resume.
- Text DELETE — request permanent erasure of your data.
- Access & portability: request a full copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate data (e.g. your name).
- Erasure: ask us to delete everything we hold about you.
- Objection & withdrawal: object to processing or withdraw consent at any time.
- Complaint: you may lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office if you believe your rights were infringed.

8. This website
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no third-party trackers. If you tap "Chat with affinova.ai", you leave for WhatsApp, which is governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. Links from our site may include a short campaign code (e.g. SRC-WEB) in the pre-filled message so we know the visit came from this website.
9. Children
affinova.ai is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process children's data; if you believe a minor has used the service, contact us and we will erase the data.
10. Changes
If we change this policy materially, we'll update this page and note the new date above. Continued use of affinova.ai after changes means you accept the updated policy.
